Here are the official rules for the Coast 93.1 Katy Perry Flyaway Contest…

Starting on Monday, August 11th, 2014 through Friday, August 22th, 2014…Coast 93.1 will be giving away iTunes gift cards, valued at $20, and a bottle Katy Perry Perfume, valued at $25, each weekday from 5 to 9am with Blake and Eva. Each weekday, Blake and Eva will play a line from a Katy Perry song, and the first person to call 792-6278 and correctly sing the rest of the line will win the $20 iTunes gift card and the bottle of Katy Perry perfume, and qualify for the grand prize trip.

The grand prize trip includes:

  • A trip to New Orleans to see Katy Perry in concert at the Smoothie King Center, on Wednesday, October 8th, 2014.
  • 2 Roundtrip coach plane tickets from Portland International Jetport to New Orleans.
  • 2 tickets, located in the “Floor D” section, to see Katy Perry on Wednesday, October 8th, 2014.
  • AND two nights hotel in New Orleans on October 8th, 2014 and October 9th, 2014, hotel accommodations to be determined by Coast 93.1.

Approximate value is $1205

A random drawing from all the qualifiers will be held at approximately 9am on Friday, August 22th, 2014 and announced on the air. That qualifier will have ten minutes to call the station at 792-6278. If the chosen qualifier does not call in within the ten minute window another random qualifier will be drawn and the same procedure will be followed until a winner is determined.

If the winner does not meet requirements for the trip then the prize will be forfeited, and another random winner will be chosen.  The same procedure will be followed until a winner is determined.  Prize will be awarded within 30 days. Coast 93.1’s sole responsibility is to award the prize; therefore, Coast 93.1 will have no further responsibility in connection with the prize if the prize winner, for any reason cannot or decides not to fly to New Orleans, to use the hotel accommodations, or attend the show.

Coast 93.1 contests are open to all eligible Maine and New Hampshire residents 18 or over and have not have not won anything on Coast 93.1 in the past 30 days or any prize valued at $600 or more in the past 6 months. Only one winner per household is permitted within 30 days after a household has a winner. Any prize awarded to an ineligible listener will be deemed null and void, and an alternate eligible winner may be named.  Employees of Coast 93.1 at the Portland Radio Group, and its ultimate parent company, Saga Communications, Inc., their advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of each, and employees of all media of mass communication within a one hundred mile radius of the Coast 93.1 main studio are not eligible to win any contest. Immediate family includes the spouse, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of the employee and his/her spouse. This also includes individuals for whom the employee is current legal guardian.
