Hannaford Supermarkets, Maine Community Bank, and Coast 93.1 are partnering to identify and celebrate women in Maine who go above and beyond to make their communities a better place to live.

We know those unsung heroes in our neighborhoods – those women who are already busy yet find ways to give back in big ways to help others.

Who is that woman in your life?

Each outstanding woman will be highlighted on Coast 93.1 with her own day of recognition and will be celebrated in a special event featuring all of Coast’s “20 Outstanding Women” to take place on March 24, 2025, at USM’s Hannaford Hall.

Official 20 Outstanding Women Rules

Coast 93.1’s 20 Outstanding Women recognition program is an annual initiative, to be conducted Monday, January 6th, 2025 through Sunday, February 2nd, 2025 in which listeners can nominate an outstanding woman in their life for a chance to win the honor of being one of the 2025 20 Outstanding Women. To enter, nominators must completely fill out a nomination form on the 20 Outstanding Women contest page at Coast931.com. Judges read through each nomination and choose those they feel make a substantial difference in their communities. The judges’ decision is final. Honorees will be VIP guests at a special event and presented with a commemorative award, $250 Hannaford gift card, flowers ($25 value) and other gifts. If the prize package is valued at $600 or more, winners will be sent a 1099 MISC federal tax form. Winners are responsible for any and all Federal, State and/or Local Taxes.
