Contest Rules: Stocking Surprise 2023

CONTEST RULES: STOCKING SURPRISE:

Once per day Between 5 and 10 am from Monday, December 4th, 2023 through Friday, December 8th, 2023, DJs will solicit guesses on the “stocking surprise.” One DJ will reach into a stocking and describe what they are feeling. Based on the description, listeners will guess what the item is. The item could be anything that fits in a standard Christmas stocking. Once prompted, the first eligible caller with the correct answer will win that day’s “stocking surprise” prize. Prizes vary daily.
The DJs will act as subjective and final judges to determine if the guess is close enough to the correct answer.

One prize will be awarded each day from 12/4/23 to 12/8/23.

Prizes include:
A pair of Madonna tickets ($400) + a Scrub A Dub ($100) and Dunkin ($50) gift card.
A pair of Madonna tickets ($400) + a Scrub A Dub ($100) and Dunkin ($50) gift card.
A pair of Green Day tickets ($130) + a Scrub A Dub ($100) and Dunkin ($50) gift card.
A pair of Olivia Rodrigo tickets ($100) + a Scrub A Dub ($100) and Dunkin ($50) gift card.
A $250 Springer’s Jewelers gift card + a Scrub A Dub ($100) and Dunkin ($50) gift card.
Additional prizes may be included that will change the value.
Prize values are based on a retail price.

WMGX contests are open to all eligible Maine Residents 18 or older have not won anything on WMGX in the past 30 days or any prize valued at $600 or more in the past 6 months. Only one winner per household is permitted within 30 days after a household has a winner. Any prize awarded to an ineligible listener will be deemed null and void, and an alternate eligible winner may be named.  Employees of WMGX, Portland Radio Group, and its ultimate parent company, Saga Communications, Inc., their advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of each, and employees of all media of mass communication within a one hundred mile radius of the WMGX main studio are not eligible to win any contest. Immediate family includes the spouse, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children,
grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of the employee and his/her spouse. This also includes individuals for whom the employee is current legal guardian.

For any contests involving tickets to live performances or events, winners will need to follow all COVID guidelines and protocols put in place by the concert organizer.

Coast 93.1 is not responsible for any event cancellations or reschedules.

We will make reasonable efforts to award Prizes within 30 days after winning. Prizes must be redeemed at 420 Western Ave in South Portland within 30 days of being awarded unless otherwise specified in writing. Prize(s) are not transferable or redeemable for cash.  Winners are responsible for taxes, fees, and any other costs associated with accepting any prize.
