Text entries for each contest play will be accepted until 10 minutes after the text word is announced, of each specific contest episode. COAST 93-1 may choose to announce a contest word more than one time during the permitted window, but there is no obligation to announce the word multiple times in any single contest play or in subsequent contest plays. Message and data rates may apply. One text per play. One entry per person. More than one entry will disqualify all entries by that individual.

COAST 93-1 will conduct this contest concurrently and simultaneously with radio stations affiliated with the Portland Radio Group.  Listeners of COAST 93-1 will, therefore, be competing with listeners of other radio stations to win the same prize. A station will be chosen at random from all the participating radio stations. Then a text received by that station will be chosen at random by Portland Radio Group staff.  The cell phone number from the chosen text will be called and the reaction recorded for broadcast.  If unable to speak with the contestant who sent the text within 5 minutes from the time that contestant’s cell number is dialed, then the prize will be forfeited and another random text will be chosen with the same procedure until a winner is determined. The winner will receive a $500 check.COAST 93-1 is not responsible for any difficulties contacting COAST 93-1 or entering the Contest, any malfunctions or errors, whether technical or typographical or human error, experienced due to overload, internet availability or texting server issues. Text messages are sent through third party providers; COAST 93-1 does not guarantee, and shall not be responsible for, the delivery or timeliness of any text message entry. Prize will be available within 10 business days. Be safe… Don’t text and drive No purchase necessary. Entrants and winners will be chosen at the sole discretion of Portland Radio Group.

COAST 93-1 contests are open to all eligible Maine and New Hampshire residents 18 or over and those who have not won any prize valued at or over, or cumulative prizes valued at or over $600 on COAST 93-1, or any station within the Portland Radio Group, in the past 6 months. Any prize awarded to an ineligible listener will be deemed null and void, and an alternate eligible winner may be named. Contest participants should not rely on streamed broadcasts as they may be delayed from the on air broadcasts.
