Camping weather is almost here, and we’re bringing camping…errr…..at least “glamping” skills to help kick off Camping Weekend activitives May 13-15 at the L.L. Flagship store in Freeport!
Make plans to join us…
Friday 5/13:
6-7pm: Featuring “Happy Camper Hour,” –inside Cafe 1912 – enjoy some free Chili, Cornbread, Lemonade, Hot Cocoa and S’Mores!
7-8pm: We’ll play some fun games — maybe a Scavenger Hunt, Beat Boot Toss!, and guess which one of us has never even played “Kick The Can?” (At the Park, or inside in case of rain)
8-9pm: Time for scary stories around the campfire –Firepit in the Park (Or inside if weather doesn’t cooperate!)
9-11pm: We’ll be decorating our tents using items from the store. It is a competition of course!!
11pm: Time for our beauty sleep! Snug as a bug in our cozy sleeping bags in our tents. Sleep tight!
Saturday 5/14:
8:00am: The big reveal of our decorated tents!! Vote on who’s you like best! Of course we’ll be pandering for your votes on social media too!!
9:00am: We’re excited to welcome the thousands of Boy Scouts who’ll parade into the Park area to help kick off all the awesome Saturday Camping Weekend activities.
10:00am-12:00pm: We’ll get the games going with prizes, and of course candy!
