Karen Veit is our “Outstanding Woman” for 10-13-17
Karen is a science teacher for at-risk kids at Noble High School’s alternative education program–and she is the coordinator of North Berwick’s Harvest for Hunger garden. She even donated her own property for the community to use to grow food, which is then donated to the local food pantries.

Sharri MacDonald created “OOB365” about nine years ago to highlight business and activities year-round in Old Orchard Beach. The all-volunteer organization works to help keep OOB open and active in the tougher winter months with free family events, community dinners, and celebrating everything OOB!
