Emily Dziedzic, our “Outstanding Woman” for 10-5-17
Through her volunteering with Camp Sunshine, a week-long camp for terminally ill kids, Emily became interested in working closely with kids suffering from Dykeratosis Congenita Outreach (DCO). DCO is a very rare, genetically-inherited, multi-symptom disorder with no cure. Emily works tirelessly to bring awareness and funds to this disorder.

Sue Sturgis: Our “Outstanding Woman” for 10-4-17
Sue is a hospice volunteer with Androscoggin Home Care & Hospice. She volunteers regularly as a greeter, but also fulfills a crucial role as a “Tuck-in” caller. Tuck in callers check in weekly with home-based hospice patients to make sure they have the necessary supplies and medicines for the weekend. Although end of life care be hard, Sue says it’s work she truly loves to do.
