You’re gonna need a tissue.
Chris Norton is a 23 year-old Iowa college student whose life changed in a football game in 2010. He fractured part of his spine during the game and was left paralyzed with only a 3% chance of ever regaining movement below his neck.
Yet, he set a nearly impossible goal: to walk across the stage at his graduation from Luther College.
Last weekend, with the help of his girlfriend Emily, he accomplished that incredible feat.
By the way, Emily is no longer his girlfriend. The day before she helped him walk across the stage, he proposed.
She said yes.
