Oh, what a tangled web this is!
The handsome Russian singer in this video is Emin Agalarov. He’s one of the most popular crooners there, often called the “Russian Michael Buble.”
His father is a wealthy businessman, often referred to as the “Russian Donald Trump.” But it was Emin who was involved in contacting Donald Trump, Jr. that’s advanced the claims of collusion between the campaign and the Russian government.
The Hollywood Reporter: “In a story Monday, the New York Times identified the younger Agalarov as the person who set up a meeting, June 9, 2016, at Trump Tower in New York, between Donald Trump Jr. and a Kremlin-connected Russian lawyer. As the Times reported, Trump Jr., at the time a part of his father’s campaign team, was promised the lawyer, Natalia Veselnitskaya, had damaging information about Hillary Clinton.”
The e-mails that Donald Trump, Jr. tweeted out were an exchange between Trump, Jr. and Rob Goldstone. Goldstone was involved in publicity for the Miss Universe Pageant, which is how he knows the Trump family. But he is also the president of a marketing company that apparently does publicity for “Emin,” as he’s known in Russia.
