Here are the official rules for the Coast 93.1 Mother Daughter Look-A-Like Contest…

From Midnight April 20th through 8am Monday April 27th listeners can submit their Mother Daughter look alike photos at Coast 931 dot COM. Listeners must register through UPickEm to enter. Entrants must include all required registration information to register and agree to terms for UPICKEM. The party entering must be the mother or daughter in the photo. Must be 18 or older to enter. One entry per mother/daughter team. After the submission period, photos will be posted online at Coast 931 dot COM for listeners to vote for their favorite photo. Round 1 of voting will last from Noon April 27th through 8am May 4th. The top 10 vote getters from round 1 will move on to a second voting round from Noon May 4th through Midnight May 10th. In round two of the voting, listeners will again vote for their favorite photo. The eligible and qualifying entrant with the most votes after the second round may win the Grand Prize. The Grand Prize winner will be announced on the Coast Morning Show at 8AM on Monday, May 11th, 2015 and winner will also be contacted by telephone. Listeners can vote once per day during the voting round. Voting is limited to one vote per verified email address. If an entrant receives irregular votes from the same user or users, including but not limited to, votes generated by a robotic, programmed, script, macro, other automated means or other source, Coast 93.1 reserves the right to disqualify the entrant in its sole discretion.

Entries containing inappropriate photos or music will be disqualified. Any photograph submitted to COAST will become the property of COAST and may be used in any manner it feels appropriate in the future. COAST has the final say of what content is appropriate for the website. No use of indecent or obscene material, no content or material that is illegal, contains nudity or is sexually explicit, or by law, obscene, profane or pornographic is permitted. By entering this contest you are verifying that you are the owner and producer of the submitted material and that no third party ownership rights exist to the photo submitted.

The top vote getter from round 2 will receive the Grand Prize:

  • 2 tickets for seats to be determined by COAST 931 to see Taylor Swift at Gillette Stadium Saturday, July 25th, 2015 with round trip bus transportation courtesy of Custom Coach and Limousine. Estimated Retail Value is $260
  • A $25 gift card to the Lobster Shack in Cape Elizabeth
  • 2 tickets for seats to be determined by COAST 931 for Mamma Mia! at Merrill Auditorium on May 13th, 2015 at 8 pm. Estimated retail value is $105

Retail value of the grand prize value is approximately $390

Entrants and winner will ultimately be decided at the sole discretion of COAST staff.

The submissions receiving the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th most votes will each receive a $25 gift card to the Lobster Shack and 2 tickets to Mamma Mia! at Merrill Auditorium on May 13th, 2015 at 8 pm. These runner ups will be notified on Monday, May 11th via telephone by the promotions department. In the event of a tie in the first or second rounds, the tied submissions will be entered into a random drawing to determine our final qualifiers or winner. The resulting winner of the tie breaker will be at the sole discretion of Coast staff. Top vote getters will be announced Monday, May 11th. The Upickem Website.

Coast 93.1’s sole responsibility is to award the prize; therefore, Coast 93.1 will have no further responsibility in connection with the prize if the prize winner, for any reason cannot or decides use the bus accommodations or attend the show(s). Winners will be responsible for any and all fees, incidentals, and state and federal taxes. We will make reasonable efforts to award Prizes within 30 days after winning. Coast 93.1 contests are open to all eligible Maine and New Hampshire residents 18 or over and those who have not won any prize valued at or over, or cumulative prizes valued at or over $600 on Coast 93.1 in the past 6 months. Any prize awarded to an ineligible listener will be deemed null and void, and an alternate eligible winner may be named. Employees of Coast 93.1 at the Portland Radio Group, Saga Communications of New England, LLC, and its ultimate parent company, Saga Communications, Inc., their advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of each, and employees of all media of mass communication within a one hundred mile radius of the Coast 93.1 main studio are not eligible to win any contest. Immediate family includes the spouse, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of the employee and his/her spouse.
