Hancock County deputies say they’ve summoned 15 people and arrested one at a reported underage drinking party in Penobscot.

Deputies say they were sent to a home early Tuesday morning, where they saw about two dozen people at the party.

They say they summoned 15 people under the legal drinking age, including three under age 18, while one 20-year-old was arrested for supplying alcohol to minors.

Hancock County deputies say Maine State Police assisted them in the investigation.

The underage people summoned were from 11 towns and cities, including Bangor, Holden, and Bar Harbor.

They say a $10,000 grant from Dirigo Safety LLC has provided them with resources to investigate underage drinking.
