Three people face drug trafficking charges after a traffic stop and search of a home in Auburn.

Auburn police announced Sunday that three people, including two from Georgia, were arrested in a drug trafficking investigation on Friday.

Officers found two firearms, approximately $3,400 in suspected drug proceeds, and oxycodone pills in a car. A search at a residence revealed 112 grams (4 ounces) of crystal methamphetamine, four grams of crack cocaine, digital scales, and 75 grams of an unknown substance.

Two 22-year-old men from Georgia, Wakarii Weeks and Michael Cressey, face charges of Aggravated Trafficking Scheduled Drugs, class A and two counts each of Unlawful Possession of Scheduled Drugs, class C. Both men have bail set at $25,000 cash. Weeks and Cressey also have previous convictions in Georgia.

Another person not connected to the residence, 19-year-old Aliyah Jeanpaul, was released after posting $250 cash bail. She faces a charge for violation of conditions of release, class E. Officers say fourth person in the car, a 17-year-old girl, was released from the scene of the initial traffic stop to custody of her parents.
