Police in Auburn say that they’ve arrested a woman for drug trafficking.

Katlynn Stump, 27, reportedly has been dealing drugs from her car on Minot Avenue from a business parking lot that is right next to Fairview Elementary School.

The police say that a citizen provided a tip that started an investigation.

On Friday Auburn police officers conducted surveillance that then led to a traffic stop of the vehicle that was described.

The driver of the vehicle was identified as Stump where she admitted to having drugs in the car.

According to an Auburn Police Facebook post a search of the vehicle occurred and more than 240 grams of fentanyl were seized.

An amount of this size is estimated to be around $20,000 street value.

The suspect was arrested and charged with Aggravated Trafficking of Scheduled Drugs, and Unlawful Possession of Scheduled drugs.

The police department says that the trafficking charge is considered aggravated due to the amount of fentanyl seized, as well as the location which was next to the elementary school.

Stump is being held at the Androscoggin County Jail and bail has been set at $10,000 cash.
