Bangor Man Arrested for Felony Domestic Violence

A 28-year-old Bangor man faces felony domestic violence charges.

Police say they were called to a residence on Wednesday at 5:15 a.m., where they found a man actively assaulting a woman who was calling for help.

Officers say they determined Jesse Ramsdell had choked and restrained the woman and also assaulted a child at the home.

Police say Ramsdell was arrested and taken to Penobscot County Jail

Ramsdell was charged with the following:
Domestic Violence Aggravated Assault, Class B
Domestic Violence Assault, Class D
Criminal Mischief, Class D
Criminal Restraint, Class
