Drug bust at Scarborough hotel leads to charges for Cape Elizabeth man

A Cape Elizabeth man is accused of selling drugs out of a hotel room in Scarborough.

Maine drug agents arrested 48-year-old Peter White on Wednesday after undercover purchases were made from the hotel on Payne Road.

Agents seized more than 3.3 pounds of fentanyl, an ounce of crack and about $2,700 in suspected drug proceeds.

The drugs total an estimated $60,000 in street value.

White is being held on $75,000 bail on charges of aggravated drug trafficking and unlawful drug trafficking.

He will appear in court on Friday.
