A former candidate for Maine governor who was convicted on child pornography charges has denied violating his probation.
Eliot Cutler served seven months behind bars after he was convicted in May of 2023 on four counts of accessing sexually explicit material of a minor under 12.
According to WABI, Cutler appeared in court on Tuesday, where he denied violating probation by accessing sexually explicit content online and possessing unmonitored devices.
The judge chose to allow Cutler to have internet access but he was required to pay $1,000 cash bail, along with other conditions.
