An arrest has been made in the killing of a Palermo man.

Maine State Police discovered the body of 56-year-old Robert Bruso outside of a residence in April.

After the death was ruled a homicide, detectives charged 58-year-old Kirby Bradford of Liberty with murder on Thursday.

Bradford was already being held in jail on unrelated charges and was expected to make an initial court appearance Friday morning.

Police are looking for Bruso’s dog Lenny and are asking anyone who may have seen a golden retriever in the area of Route 3 near Boots and Saddle Road and Level Hill Road in Palermo to call them.
