The MTA says the fire at the garage on Hackett Road on Interstate 95 started at about 6 p.m., and several vehicles inside, including four plow trucks, a box truck, a loader, and a traffic control truck, along with miscellaneous tools, are all expected to be total losses.

No one was injured and the fire did not spread to other buildings in the yard.

The MTA says the loss of plow trucks is not affecting the plowing Sunday night into Monday morning with up to three inches of snow expected.

The speed limit on the turnpike has been reduced to 45 mph from the New Hampshire border to the Canadian border.

The State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of the fire.
