An investigation is underway after a 74-year-old Massachusetts man’s body was found in the water near Bremen, on Sunday.
Maine Marine Patrol says Mark Metzger was reported missing by friends after they could not find him near his 19-foot sailboat, which was anchored at the shore.
His body was located about two hours later in the water and recovered by the U.S. Coast Guard.
The medical examiner’s office is expected to do an autopsy.
It’s not known how Metzger died or ended up in the water.
