Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office Make Two Domestic Violence Arrests Within Hours

Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office made two serious domestic violence arrests within hours of each other.

On Friday at around 8pm, deputies responded to a residence in Garland after reports of family fighting.

They ended up arresting 54-year-old Wade Bigelow on two counts including Domestic Violence Aggravated Assault.

Bigelow is accused of strangling his girlfriend and then attempting to drag her out of the residence.

A few hours later at 12:45, Saturday morning, deputies were called to a residence in Hermon where they found 62-year-old Jason Wiggin, supposedly violating an active protection order.

The victim accused Wiggin of going to the home several times and attempted to make contact with them.
