Police look for shooting suspect after 1 person injured in Portland Old Port

Portland Police are investigating a shooting that sent one person to the hospital.

Police responded to shots fired overnight Thursday morning on Dana Street outside of Amigo’s Restaurant and Bar, where a 32-year-old man was shot in the leg.

The victim was hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.

Police didn’t find a suspect, but witnesses described him as a white male in his 20s, about 5’5″ to 5’8″ tall with a scruffy beard, wearing jeans and a gray hoodie.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Portland Police.
