The Portland Jetport is one of a number of airports across the country that are not showing a video of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem.

The Jetport says it was asked by TSA to voluntarily show the video, which features Noem blaming Democrats in Congress for the ongoing federal government shutdown.

A statement from the Jetport calls the video political in nature, which does not meet Transportation Security Regulations.

“This video was political in nature and did not address any operational guidance for customers, such as limits on liquids, leaving your electronics in your bag, or having a Real ID,” Jetport management said in a statement. ” The statement named two specific regulations the video did not meet, 1542.303 and 1542.305.

The Jetport says it is declining to request to voluntarily show the video on its monitors.

In the video, Noem says that TSA’s “top priority” is to help make travel pleasant and efficient while keeping passengers safe.

“However, Democrats in Congress refuse to fund the federal government, and because of this, many of our operations are impacted, and most of our TSA employees are working without pay,” she continues.

The Transportation Security Administration falls under the Department of Homeland Security. Roughly 61,000 of the agency’s 64,130 employees are required to continue working during the shutdown.

The Associated Press contributed to this report.
