Reward increases for information about northern Maine homicide

A reward has grown for information about the death of a man found after a house fire in Aroostook County 10 years ago.

The death of 58-year-old Kenneth Zernicke was ruled a homicide after he was found dead at a home on Lower Lyndon Street in Caribou in September of 2015.

His brother is renewing efforts to investigate the crime, raising a reward to $20,000 for information leading to a conviction.
