Sanford police are releasing new details after video circulated on social media over the weekend that appeared to show a group of teenage boys assaulting a man.
Police say the juveniles rode through a stop sign near Number One Pond on Front Street on June 25, causing a man who was driving to brake suddenly.
Police say the man got out of his vehicle and got into an altercation with the juveniles, throwing one of their bikes into Number One Pond.
Police have not identified the man or said if he’s been charged with anything.
The investigation is ongoing.
