Sleepy Hollow Motel fire in Biddeford

Several departments helped Biddeford firefighters put out a fire at the Sleepy Hollow Motel on Elm Street on Tuesday morning.
Crews say a second fire hydrant near the Hannaford store had to be used when the primary hydrant was found to be frozen.

They say they were able to limit the fire to the garage area of a motel unit and protect a 4-story wood frame apartment building that was 30 feet away.
The Sleepy Hollow Motel was closed for the season, and only one firefighter received minor injuries.

Firefighters say it appears to be an accidental electrical fire.
