A 30-year-old man faces charges after police say he led them on a manhunt near South Berwick.

Officers say they were called to a domestic disturbance on Warren Pond Road involving a man who threatened family members with a knife at about 10:30 am Tuesday.

They say they learned upon arrival that the man, identified as Robert Hundley, had gone into nearby woods to a hunting cabin.

Officers say they were not able to coax Hundley out of the woods and called in the Southern Maine Special Response Team for help.

Police say the response team found Hundley after several hours of searching the woods and took him into custody without further incident.

He was taken to York County Jail and charged with criminal threatening and violating release conditions.
