A Bangor middle school was evacuated briefly due to a threat on Wednesday morning.

Bangor Police said the William S. Cohen School was evacuated out of an abundance of caution after a threat was received.

They didn’t share details about the threat but said nothing was found after a search of the school.

Students were evacuated to the Fruit Street School but returned to William Cohen after about an hour.
