Victim, Suspect Identified in Monday Portland Shooting

are indentifying the victim and suspect in the Monday afternoon shooting of a 23-year-old woman on Sanborn Street.

Officers say 21-year-old Ayden Jordan of Portland is charged with Elevated Aggravated Assault in the shooting of 23-year-old Destiny Bullock of South Portland.

Bullock was taken to Maine Medical Center, where police say she remains in stable condition.

The shooting happened around 4:45 Monday afternoon at 22 Sanborn Street.

Portland Police Department Public Information Officer Brad Nadeau said no further details are being released at this time.

However, investigators are urging anyone who has any information that might assist in the case to call them at (207) 874-8575. People may also text the keyword PPDME and their message to 847411.
