Congratulations to Candice Simeoni, one of our 20 Outstanding Women of 2025!
Listen to Candice’s full interview with Blake and Kelly below:
Officer Simeoni is the Elder Crimes/Community Liaison/Court Officer for the Town of Kennebunk and the founder of the York County Elder Abuse Task Force. For 20 years, she has passionately protected Maine’s elderly from abuse, exploitation, and fraud, developing a model now used nationwide. Her expertise even led to an invitation from Senator Susan Collins to testify before the Senate Aging Committee on senior fraud and financial scams.
Believing that older citizens are among our greatest assets, Officer Simeoni personally checks in on those who may have no one else, offering companionship, necessities, and support. She also organizes National Night Out and The Golden Ornament Project, delivering gifts to elderly residents who live alone during the holidays.
Beyond law enforcement, she is a “Sugar Angel,” designing and delivering beautiful custom cakes to terminally ill children in Maine and New Hampshire. Her leadership, compassion, and commitment to unity inspire those around her. The Kennebunk community is incredibly fortunate to have Officer Simeoni as an advocate, protector, and beacon of kindness.
