Congratulations to Jess Fairclough, one of our 20 Outstanding Women of 2025!
Listen to Jess’ full interview with Blake and Kelly below:
Jessica is a dedicated doula and yoga instructor whose work uplifts and empowers marginalized communities. As a doula, she provides vital support to birthing individuals, ensuring they feel seen, respected, and cared for during one of the most vulnerable moments of their lives. Her compassionate presence transforms childbirth into an experience of strength and resilience, especially for those in underserved communities.
Beyond her work in birth support, Jessica teaches yoga at a women’s reentry center within the prison system, offering more than just physical movement—her classes promote mental, emotional, and spiritual healing. Many of the women she teaches have faced profound trauma and systemic oppression, and her guidance helps them reconnect with their bodies, regain agency, and find moments of peace. Her impact extends beyond incarceration, inspiring former inmates to pursue yoga instruction themselves, creating a lasting ripple effect of empowerment.
Whether guiding a birth or leading a yoga session, she fosters resilience, hope, and self-discovery, helping others build stronger futures for themselves and their communities.
