Lindsey Wiehl is a dedicated musician, educator, and community leader whose work enriches the arts and education in Maine. As a faculty member at the University of Maine at Augusta, she teaches music production, songwriting, and woodwind techniques, mentoring students through innovative programs like Matching Music to Visuals, which merges music and technology.

An accomplished bassoonist and composer, Lindsey performs both locally and internationally, including as a member of the electro-synth band Lab Brats, whose music video won an AVA Digital Platinum Award. She creates engaging multi-media concert experiences, such as Music Based on Literature and Beatlemania Bassoonmania, making the arts more accessible.

Lindsey’s commitment to community service includes her work at the Unitarian Universalist Community Church of Augusta, assisting with technology for virtual services. She also teaches at the International Music Camp, leading music and STEM projects for Native American students. She has secured grants for DEI-focused concerts and student music equipment. As the founder of Reeding Rainbow Reeds, Lindsey blends creativity with entrepreneurship, ensuring music remains inclusive and impactful for all.
