Hey it’s Heather! So you want to know a little bit about me, or you just hit the wrong button on your computer either way here are a few things you might not have known.

I started working in radio when I was 16. It’s the only thing I have ever wanted to do. Now I have worked in child care, an ice cream shop, a video store and as a hostess at a restaurant but none of those could get me to leave radio.

I do like long walks on the beach. It sounds corny but I do. My favorite is to drive down to Ogunquit and walk the Marginal Way.

I am a self proclaimed Mouse Junkie. No I don’t like mice, I LOVE Mickey Mouse. If I could I would spend every vacation at Disney World. Do not be surprised if you hear me singing “grim grinning ghosts”. That is the theme from the Haunted Mansion (my favorite ride) Second is Peter Pans Flight, Pirates, Toy Story Mania, Spaceship Earth, Test Track… well you get the idea. I and my family are Disney addicts!

Talking about my family I have a loving husband of over well let’s not say how many years and an almost adult son. Plus a border collie named Sage and a mixed breed named Belle (after the cartoon character).

When I am not on the radio I am a travel agent specializing in theme park and family travel. My goal is to go to ALL of the Disney and Universal properties in the world. Now that my son is old enough to take care of himself I can travel more!

I LOVE working here at Coast 93.1! Portland is such an amazing area. The ocean, the mountains, the arts! What isn’t to love! It’s a city that doesn’t feel over powering or intimidating. Portland is like no other place I have ever been and that is why I love it! So if you see someone running singing It’s A Small World, don’t be shy stop me and say HI!
